June 14, 1948 - August 21, 2026

John Oliver Denehy went home to the Lord August 21, 2026. Born June 14, 1948, in Boston Massachusetts. John was a man of many words and stories. He had more care for his fellow man than himself.

He leaves his “Beautiful Bride” Carol Denehy, brother Mark Denehy and wife Cynthia, son John Denehy and wife Kelli, daughter Doris and husband Nathan Kerr. Grandchildren Carissa and Ethan Denehy, and Lauren, Alexander and Justin Kerr. Great Grandchildren Sebastian, Gabriel and Christopher Kerr.

John is preceded by his parents, Doris and John Denehy.

John’s professional and humanitarian journey have sent him far and wide. He was blessed to make some amazing friends and have fabulous adventures. The things he was most proud to be a part of were his 25 years in the Air Force, volunteering with First Responders in multiple states, and being a teacher.

Johns’ dedication to helping people was only matched by his excitement to learn and to share that knowledge with those around him. His biggest hobby was reloading his own ammunition and competition shooting. He loved sharing his experiences in reloading with his family.

John understood the importance of family and staying together. To share stories, experiences, laughter and love. “Jesus loves you. Pass it on if you can”
