Michelle Castillo-Garcia

Born on December 31, 1971, and passed away on September 24, 2025, at the age of 53.

It is with heavy heart that we announce that our beloved mother Michelle Castillo-Garcia, 53, after 4 years of battling cancer has now found peace.

Michelle was born in Mendota, Illinois and will be laid to rest in the Wichita Falls. Michelle was self employed and passionate for her career as a massage therapist living up to the name of her “healing hands”.

In her last moments it became apparent that for her kindness, generosity and loving spirit she touched many hearts, and she will be greatly missed.

Michelle was preceded in death by her father Ruben Oliver Castillo, her nephew Alexis Viante Maldonado and Aunt Virginia “Virgie” Lopez Rios.

Michelle is survived by parents Rosa Rodriquez and stepfather Frank; three children Michael Paul Castaneda, Matthew Ambrosio Castaneda and wife Estephania, and Monica Aliz Resendiz.

Siblings Alicia Garcia Castillo, Roy Castillo, and Cristina Rodriquez. Seven grandchildren and many loving cousins and other family members.
