Angie Suenett Barton, 79, of Burkburnett, TX passed away peacefully under hospice care on May 22, 2026.

Angie was born on June 18, 1946, in Bakersfield, CA to Monroe and Joncey Ann Lewis.

Angie married the love of her life 63 years ago. She dedicated many years to Lakeside School, working in the cafeteria and janitorial departments, where she made lifelong friends. Grandma was known for always having sodas in the trunk of her car and otter pops in her freezer. She was quiet but feisty, while her husband happily made up for the quietness. Her guidance, strength, and unconditional love will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Buella Mae, Helen, and Doris.

She is survived by her loving husband, Terry; her children, Tronie of Burkburnett, TX, Michael Todd of Burkburnett, TX, and Travis and Charlene of Wichita Falls, TX; her grandchildren, Sierra and Patrick of Iowa Park, TX Madison and Morgan of Ardmore, OK Kyle of Burkburnett, TX, Daniel of Wasco, CA, and Kelli of Bakersfield, CA; her great-grandchildren, Wren, Parker, Asher, Dyxee, Layne, Journi, and Ender; and her siblings, Lela of Springfield, Tennessee, and Thomas of Bakersfield, California.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Beyond Faith Hospice in honor of Angie, whose compassionate care brought comfort during her final days.
