In Loving Memory of Brenda Waggoner
April 9, 1957 – June 26, 2026
Brenda (Johnson) Beebe Waggoner, 69, of Iowa Park, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Brenda was born on April 9, 1957, in Honolulu, Hawaii to Connie and Mary Stanley Johnson.
Nothing made Brenda happier than having her family together. Whether everyone was gathered around the dinner table, planning the next family adventure or simply spending time together, those were the moments she treasured most.
Being a mom and especially a Meme brought Brenda more joy than anything else. She loved fiercely, celebrated wholeheartedly, and treasured every opportunity to make memories with the people she loved.
She found happiness in traveling on cruises, cheering on her favorite NASCAR drivers (and just as enthusiastically rooting against a few others), watching her grandson Connor race go-karts, treating herself to a good mani/pedi, spoiling her beloved canine companion, Frances, and admiring Highland cows. If you knew Brenda, you knew the quickest way to make her smile was talking about her family, planning her next cruise, or showing her a Highland cow.
Anyone who ever sat down at Brenda's table knew there was simply no beating her homemade chicken and dumplings. Like so many things she did, they were made with love and meant to be shared.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Connie Johnson and Mary Stanley Johnson; her first husband, Ruppert Beebe; and her beloved cousin and best friend, Karen Farmer.
Brenda is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, Lark Waggoner; her sons, Ruppert "Bubba" Beebe and wife Corky, and Wesley Waggoner and wife Morgan; her sisters, Guin Johnson, and Wendy Hartman and husband Randy; her grandchildren, Michael, Mackenzie, Bishop, Connor, KC, Kase, and Sam; her great-grandchildren, Addie and Ethan; her faithful canine companion, Frances; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives she touched.
In keeping with Brenda's wishes, there will be no traditional funeral service. Instead, her family will gather at a later date to celebrate her life with stories, laughter, and the love she shared so generously throughout her life.
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort knowing that Brenda's love, strength, and devotion will continue to live on in the family she cherished and in the countless memories she leaves behind.
She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
