1970-2026

Esteban Carrizales, 56, went to be with the Lord on August 11, 2026. He was a devoted husband, loving father, Pastor, minister and servant of God. His life was marked by an unwavering faith and love for people. He had a heart and passion for community outreach, evangelism and prison ministry. He sought opportunities to encourage other’s and share the hope and love of Jesus Christ.

Esteban faithfully Pastored House of prayer church where he served his congregation with love, dedication and compassion. He was also the founder of P. O. W. W. (prisoners of war wanted) ministries. A ministry born from his passion to reach those who were incarcerated and reminded them that their lives still had purpose, value and hope.

Beyond the pulpit and ministry, Esteban cherished the simple joys of life. He enjoyed spending time at parks, feeding ducks, drinking McDonald’s coffee, and eating breakfast. He was also a proud San Francisco 49ers and Dallas Cowboys fan.

Above all, Esteban treasured his family. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife Marisela G. Carrizales and a loving father. His family included his children Stephanie Carrizales, Joshua Carrizales and his extended family Marco Polo Medina and Julio Cesar Medina. He is survived by siblings, Rosalinda Gonzales (Eliseo), Normalinda Hernandez (Luis), Rick Velasquez (Monica) and David Rodriguez (Mindy).

He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Luz C. Velasquez.

Though our hearts grieve his absence, we find comfort in knowing that Pastor Esteban finished his earthly race, faithful to the calling God placed upon his life. His legacy will continue through the people he served, the lives he touched, the ministry he built and the seeds of faith, hope and love he planted throughout his community.

Homegoing memorial service will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026, at Solid Rock House of God, located at 2201 Maurine St. Wichita Falls Tx. 76306.
