It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Kelly Elaine Thompson, who passed away on June 29, 2026, at the age of 71.

Kelly was born on May 24, 1955, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Robert and Polly Caywood Norris. She was known for her kind and generous heart and was always willing to give the shirt off her back to help someone in need. She never asked for much in return except to be loved. Kelly also shared a special bond with her beloved dogs, Zoey and Brodie, who brought her great joy and companionship.

Kelly is survived by her daughter, Shauna Sindle, and son-in-law, Shawn Sindle; her sister, Jo Ellen Sampley; her grandsons, Kaleb-Michael Martin and Austin Sindle; her beloved Uncle James Kelley; and many other friends and family.

Kelly's kindness, compassion, and unconditional love will be remembered by all who knew her. Though she is no longer with us, her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her forever.

A memorial service will be held at Highland Cemetery in Iowa Park, Texas, on Friday, July 10th at 11:00 a.m.
