Marsha Ann Richardson, age 73, of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away peacefully at Midwestern Healthcare nursing home under the care of Hospice of Wichita Falls with the loving care of nurses and friends and family on September 22, 2026.

Born in Wichita Falls, Texas, to parents Quentin and Wanda Meredith at the old Bethania hospital, Marsha worked as a junior hospital volunteer “candy striper” in her younger high school years. She loved her hospital life. Marsha dedicated over 40 years of her life to United Regional Hospital as one of their medical records personnel. She was seen by thousands of employees over the years collecting records and assisting physicians with documents. Marsha also was an avid Bingo player. You could find her three times a week calling bingo for all the patrons. She was a sales representative for Avon. She loved to stay busy. She was a lover of fishing, cooking, and the Texas Rangers.

 Marsha met Joe, the love of her life, when she was just 16 years old after a lovely courtship. They married in Wichita Falls, Texas, in 1972. Together they shared 54 years of blissful marriage. As a mother, she was caring, patient, supportive, and unconditionally loving. Marsha took immense joy in the holidays spending time with her friends and family. She took pride in watching her child’s sports events and supporting his accomplishments. 

Marsha is survived by her husband Joe Richardson, one son Jody L. Richardson; ex-wife Deidre Richardson, two children Leon L. Richardson and Deanna Marie Martinez. Two great grandchildren, Nocona Hawk Cantwell and Esmeralda Jasmine Martinez. Multiple cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Quentin and Wanda Meredith, and one sister, Judy McDaniel.
