Donel "Donnie" Vern Osterbuhr 69, died peacefully Friday September 11, 2026 surrounded by his family at Hospice of Wichita Falls.

Donnie served in the United States Army from 1974 to 1977. Afterwards, he began working as a mechanic. He loved what he did and did it well. He spent his free time riding motorcycles, building lego sets and counseling fellow alcoholics. He was 25 years sober. Anyone who knew Donnie, knew he loved his dogs. He left behind his beloved Baby.

He is survived by his son Donel V. Osterbuhr Jr and wife Amanda of Bowie Texas, daughters Chalese Menasco and husband Robert of Wichita Falls, Texas, Jennifer William and husband Chris of Denver, Colorado, and Kali Osterbuhr of Monument, Colorado. 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. His sister Frieda Uzmak of Utah, brother Buddy Osterbuhr and wife Lori of Colorado Springs Colorado, sister Laura Nehl and husband Shawn of Simila Colorado.

A Celebration of Life has been scheduled for Saturday October 10, 2026 from 1pm to 3:30 pm at Easy Does It. 3760 Astrozon in Colorado Springs Colorado.
