Celebrating the Life of Elizabeth Duncan Chandler

Elizabeth Duncan Chandler went to meet the Lord on July 11, 2026, in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Graveside services are on August 1, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Fletcher Cemetery.

Elizabeth was born on May 2, 1976, in Lawton. She started life in Elgin, moving to Fletcher at the age of 7. She finished her schooling in San Angelo, Texas. Elizabeth lived in a wide range of places and worked hard at every job she had, according to co-workers. She worked for some time at the Huddle House in Monahans, Texas, and ended her working career at Wright’s Restaurant in Lawton.

She enjoyed spending time at the pond fishing and found a lot of peace doing so. She lived life on her terms and fiercely held fast to her beliefs. She had a deep love and respect for God, and the love she had for her children ran deep in her heart.

She gave her daddy the gift of grandparenthood with her only son, Dakota Chandler. Then along came Nicole and Kaylee Chandler, all three of Carlsbad, Texas. She also leaves behind daughters Gale Balfour of Brownwood, Texas, and Ki’onna Hall of Odessa, Texas.

She has four brothers: Ricky Duncan of Georgia, Elijah Duncan of Monahans, Texas, David Duncan of Lawton, Oklahoma, and Sam Duncan of Houston, Texas.

She was the granddaughter of the late Marie Briggs and the late Renee Studler. She has numerous nieces and nephews but had a particularly close relationship with a nephew she lived with, Micah. She loved to prank him. She was recently blessed with one great niece and two great nephews.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her father, Ricky Duncan; her mother, Cindy Sheppard; and two infant daughters, Asmara Adams and Freai Chandler.

She leaves behind many friends, old and new, all of whom she cherished.

We all share a part of Liz, and her memory will forever be a part of us.

She has left her imprint…
